'Istaka' means 'burnt brick'. Vedic sacrifices often needed a proper altar, which is normally made of burnt bricks. Such bricks were made of clay. The perfect place to enjoy global cuisine in a quirky contemporary setting.

The cocktail menu goes well beyond the 'usuals' and includes innovative concoctions curated by Istaka's Mixologist. The beverage menu churns out exclusive cocktails hitherto not prevalent in Goa.

The commendable cocktail selection has some of the finest invigorating concoctions served in Hawaiian Tiki glasses. The Trending Travellers Cocktail Story includes The Masala Library Old Fashioned, Voodoo Vindaloo Martinez, and Annanas Urrak Shikanji, to name just a few.

The concoctions also emphasize local flavors infused with a dash of street spices.

Istaka also offers up plenty of temptations for those who appreciate the Tales of Tiki Land, a tribute to the 'Don the Beachcomber' and 'Trader Vic'. Sip on a glass of their signature rum-based concoctions and get teleported to somewhere in the tropical islands of the South Pacific. The skillfully mixed drinks include King Cobra, Jungle Bird, Mai Tai, and Painkiller.

Moreover, with an impressive Vino Spritz, Bubbles & Sangrias section, it is quite difficult to make a poor choice here. The list includes Kaza Sangria Amore, Sangria Blanco, and Very Berry Bellini, among others.
